Holy Trinity Clergy and Ministers

The first minister of Holy Trinity was Henry Arthur Woodgate. He was Vicar from 1839-53.

Then it was Reverend John Norman from 1839-1953.

Canon Edward Hoare took over in 1853 and stayed at Trinity until 1894.

David James Stather Hunt was the fourth minister from 1894 to 1920.

In 1920 Reverend Barclay Fowell Buxton succeeded him and remained in charge until 1935.

We will add more details about them and the other clergy such as the local curates as this website develops.
